Vital Wheat Gluten is natural protein derived from wheat or wheat flour. It is concentrated, dried gluten protein with very little starch remaining. Approximately 75%-80% Wheat Protein. Vital Wheat Gluten provides additional protein to any dish. Use as a vegetarian meat substitute when combined with water and seasoning agents. It can be made into patties, cubed, sliced, cooked or fried. Restores the lost protein to wheat and flour stored for long periods. Extends the shelf life of breads, and enhances the natural flavors of foods. Store in a cool, dry, dark place. After opening store in the fridge in an airtight container.
